A first-floor extension and renovation of a beautiful period cottage in Thurston. This project aimed to expand the living space while carefully preserving and enhancing the home’s unique historic character. Our goal was to blend traditional charm with modern functionality, creating a comfortable, contemporary family home.

The new first-floor extension will added an additional bedroom and bathroom to the home, significantly increasing space without compromising the property’s period aesthetic. Designed with sensitivity to the existing structure, the extension used matching materials such as render, clay tile roofing, and timber framing to ensure it integrates seamlessly with the original building.
